Moulded candles which look as though they are made of crystals are really special! You can make these exclusive candles using crystal stearine. When it cools, this stearine gets a crystal-like appearance that looks best on candles with large, smooth surfaces. Unike normal stearine, crystal stearine does not contract when it cools. As a result, the candles might be difficult to free from certain casts. To prevent this, you can mix 2 parts crystal stearine with one part regular stearine. This will reduce the crystalline effect, but it will be easier to remove the candles. Gildewerk crystal stearine is plant-based.
Packaging: flakes in 1 or 25 kg bags.
Please note: Do not use aluminium canisters for the long-term storage of wax containing stearine. The aluminium will be affected by stearine’s high acid content.
